Modular infrastructure network Dill has published audited benchmark data showing its Data Availability layer capable of sustaining 100 megabytes per second of sampling throughput. The technical breakthrough positions Dill among the fastest decentralized DA networks currently operating in Web3.
Through advanced 2D Reed-Solomon erasure coding and decentralized validator sharding, light clients running on consumer-grade hardware can verify that block data has been made fully available by randomly downloading a tiny fraction of the block bytes. This eliminates the requirement for individual nodes to store multi-terabyte blockchain histories.
Over 10,000 independent testnet light nodes are currently participating in the testing campaign, helping calibrate network parameters ahead of the upcoming token generation event.
