Decentralized privacy protocol Fairblock has rolled out encrypted mempool infrastructure across its testnet environment, delivering an effective countermeasure against predatory maximal extractable value (MEV) searcher bots. On public blockchains, unconfirmed transactions wait in transparent mempools where bots can sandwich trades and drain retail slippage.
Fairblock solves this by encrypting transaction payloads using identity-based cryptography before broadcasting. The contents of a transaction remain cryptographically scrambled until validator consensus has sealed the transaction order, making it mathematically impossible for bots to front-run trades.
Early performance metrics indicate zero transaction latency penalties, paving the way for broad adoption across decentralized exchanges and automated treasury vaults.
