Nexus, the high-performance zero-knowledge virtual machine (zkVM) and verifiable cloud compute network, has officially launched its public incentivized testnet. The project enables developers to compile standard code written in Rust or C++ into RISC-V instructions and generate succinct cryptographic proofs that verify execution without revealing private data.
Unlike single-node proving architectures, Nexus coordinates a globally distributed decentralized network of prover nodes. Users worldwide can connect their browser tabs or native hardware to compute zero-knowledge proofs in parallel, earning network credits and establishing proof-of-work cryptographic verification.
With substantial venture backing from leading cryptography and Web3 investors, the Nexus verifiable cloud aims to become the foundational computational substrate for verifiable artificial intelligence, privacy-preserving finance, and interchain zero-knowledge consensus.
