Eradicating Sandwich Attacks: The Power of Encrypted Sequencing
**Radius**, the modular shared sequencing network backed by **Hashed** and **Superscrypt**, has reached a crucial milestone with the deployment of its encrypted mempool testnet across OP Stack and Arbitrum Orbit rollups. The protocol provides a mathematically guaranteed defense against toxic Maximal Extractable Value (MEV).
Every year, retail crypto traders lose hundreds of millions of dollars to predatory searcher bots that scan public mempools to frontrun trades, inflate slippage, and execute sandwich attacks. Radius eliminates this vulnerability by deploying **Practical Verifiable Delay Encryption (PVDE)**.
"When you submit a trade through Radius, your transaction parameters are cryptographically encrypted before entering the mempool," said Radius founder AJ Park. "The sequencer sequences your transaction blindly. The contents are only decrypted after the block order is immutably finalized, making frontrunning mathematically impossible."
Rollup-Agnostic Integration and Community Incentives
Radius operates as a plug-and-play shared sequencing layer compatible with all major modular rollup frameworks. In addition to MEV elimination, Radius provides high-speed transaction ordering and trustless cross-rollup bridges.
The project has rolled out its community quest program, encouraging decentralized finance enthusiasts to test encrypted swaps on participating testnet decentralized exchanges.
